Home Remedies for Boils

Is there a natural home remedy for boils? When my husband got hospitalized for the first time two years ago, it was because of this over infected boil that put him in epidural anaesthesia. But if I am asked, I really would rather know how to treat boils right form home without having the patient to take synthetic and strong antibiotics.

Boils or Furuncles are remedied naturally in the olden days by the use of gumamela flower. Gumamela is said to be effective in getting the boil ripe faster. The pus comes out by itself and the staphylococcus aureus (staph infection, a common bateria) is stopped faster. This type of bacteria is very contagious.

This is why treatment should be with utmost care. Making sure the items used during cleaning and treatment does not touch any part of the body of the patient or another person. A common sense boil treatment will be regular washing and cleansing of the infected area, warm compress every so often and apply tea tree oil. Apple cider vinegar can also be used to disinfect and cleanse the infection.
